Miracles to Ease a Troubled Mind/Prayers For Emotional Healing

Do you ever wish God or the spirit world would grant you a miracle to help you feel better?  I imagine that lots of us have wished for such an experience.  For me, those miracles sometimes happen in the deepest pits of grief, but, surprisingly, they also can happen when I’m perfectly happy.  Sometimes, they are even irritating!

If you’ve read previous blogs, you know that I’ve had numerous experiences with the spirits messing with me.  They make it clear that they think it’s funny!  I’ve seen images in my mind of my son laughing uproariously, literally jumping up and down with glee when I ask him if he took something that I’m missing.  They make it clear that they want me to chuckle, that they’re teasing, and that they don’t understand why I don’t find it funny.

When they’ve taken my clothing, my crystals, and my jewelry, it doesn’t bother me at first.  Usually, my son will re-materialize taken items within a couple of days… But not always.  And it’s these times when it takes a lot longer that I become irritated.

Some of you may remember a blog I wrote about my tarot cards.  They had been dematerialized from my home.  I even knew which drawer I stored them in.  Months went by with no tarot cards.  I found a deck out walking near campus, a deck I didn’t like very much.  The pictures were cartoonish-yuck!  They made it clear that they wanted me to use my tarot cards and that I was to use these temporarily before they would give mine back.

More months passed during which time I felt frustrated with the spirit world.  How could I trust them to give my things back when it was taking so long?  During that time, they encouraged me, telling me they wanted me to use the cartoon tarot cards before they’d give mine back.  So, I used the icky tarot cards, and they met their commitment. They did give mine back.  Ten months later…

In early June, I found some pants I really liked at the Eugene Saturday Market.  They were pantaloon style, and the maker called them fancy pants.  They have lace and satin ribbons embedded around the knees.  I bought a purple pair and later a black pair.  I was very fond of them, wearing them frequently the first couple of weeks.  When I put them in the washing machine after that, they didn’t come back.  I lost those pants, a pink shirt, and a super seven crystal, which had fallen off my bedside table and rolled under the bed.   The problem with the crystal was that it rolled into a portal to the other world, and I couldn’t get it back.  Obviously, the crystal wasn’t lost in the washing machine. At first I figured they had gotten mixed up in someone else’s laundry.  As time passed, I felt very discouraged with them, realizing the spirit world/my son had dematerialized them.  I wanted to wear those pants.

I had a couple of days of grief, where memories of my deceased son assaulted my senses, leaving me in tears.  When I asked for the pants to be returned, they told me to be patient.  One day, about two weeks after they disappeared, I opened my closet and found them hanging on a hanger.  At least the spirits hung them up for me!

Now, I just have to be patient and wait for the shirt, crystal, and ring to be returned.  It’s been a longer wait for the ring-about 3 years. I believe the clothes and crystal will be returned, but I don’t know how long it will take.  The ring is a big question mark.  I wonder if it will be returned at all after all this time.

This isn’t a perfect story with the ring.  It is possible that I’m misunderstanding the spirits and that the ring was stolen.  I did have people in my house who could have stolen it.  I never thought that was what happened, partly because I didn’t think they would steal and partly because the ring was damaged.

If we focus on the pants, let’s note that they were dematerialized from me, someone who has lived through death and other difficult things.  Yes, I had to wait for about three weeks to get them back, but when I did get them back, they were hanging on a hanger, neatly!!  It’s pretty funny!  I didn’t have to fold them or hang them up after the wash.  These acts generally bring me humor and joy.  I hope they bring it to you as well.
