Hello, I'm Erica.
Nestled in the heart of Eugene, Oregon, I've dedicated my life to understanding the complexities of the human mind and emotions.
As a licensed clinical social worker, my journey has been rich with experiences, challenges, and most importantly, growth.
My role as a psychotherapist has led me to specialize in areas that deeply resonate with me - Bipolar Disorder, Trauma, and Grief. Each person's story is unique, and it's been a privilege to be a part of so many transformative journeys.
For nearly two decades, I've conducted trainings, presentations, and keynote sessions on a variety of subjects. From understanding the intricacies of Bipolar Disorder to offering strategies for managing stress and burnout, my goal has always been to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to elevate their emotional and spiritual well-being.
My commitment to mental health extends beyond my therapy room. I've been honored to share my insights as a guest speaker on KEPW 97.3 FM and contribute to the academic sphere through interviews for graduate research papers. With presentations for renowned institutions like the National Association of Social Workers and the Center for Community Counseling, I continue to advocate for holistic mental health practices.
Beyond my therapeutic work, I'm proud to have contributed to the academic realm. My research, titled "Virtual dark therapy by use of Amber Lenses: Potential outpatient use in clients with high functioning Bipolar I disorder - a case report", explores innovative approaches in supporting clients with Bipolar I disorder. It's a testament to my commitment to pushing the boundaries of understanding and offering cutting-edge solutions in mental health.
Beyond my practice, I pour my knowledge and insights into my blog — a space filled with valuable information on managing mood swings, understanding anxiety, navigating through grief, and discovering resilience in crisis situations.
I invite you to explore, learn, and grow with me. Together, we can journey towards understanding, healing, and empowerment.
