Even in death, they share love!
Loved ones who have passed over sometimes give us gifts to let us know they are still around and love us! They want us to know they’re all about love!
At the end of last year I traveled out of the country. On the way back in I was stopped in customs and my dull, grade school scissors were taken away from me! Perhaps they thought I might try to stab someone with those rounded tip scissors!
Months have passed and I never replaced thos scissors. I think I was frustrated that they took them away and I didn’t want to replace them. When I was crocheting I just used my teeth to cut the yarn!
The other night, grieving a little, I told Shawheen, (my son who died almost 2 years ago), “could you quit taking stuff away, please! Give me gifts instead!” I had thought this request to him before. I was getting a little tired of pants disappearing, salt disappearing, sugar disappearing and so on.
It hit me suddenly that I had been crocheting earlier that day and both pairs of blunt tipped scissors were in my crochet bag!! I used each one in turn, not even noticing that they had reappeared, although I had been missing them for 5 months already!!
So I thanked him in my mind. Right away I get this vision of his face with a cheshire cat grin! He got a kick out of that one!
