Dancing Lights: Spirit offers Support

Dancing Lights: Spirit offers Support

Near the beginning of June, a colleague of mine had a brain injury over the weekend which landed them in the hospital.  We’ve been volunteering together for a decade. We’re both pretty laid back and have enjoyed each other’s company while helping this organization prosper.  My cousin had a ruptured aneurysm a couple of decades ago(which I thought was the same brain injury this person had) and did not recover well.  She struggled to talk, couldn’t walk or play music anymore, and was paralyzed on one side of her body.  I was concerned about my colleague and what their recovery would be like.  When I’m not volunteering, I work in an old house near downtown Eugene.

When I went to work that Monday morning, I did my rounds, unlocking the front door, turning on the music and the lights in the living room, and then the light in the dining room.  I was astounded as I watched ten lightbulbs blinking on and off, making it look like they were dancing in a circle.  I watched, entranced, for a couple of moments, then went to get my phone and took this video.  After a few more minutes, it stopped and the lights remained on without blinking like they normally are.   I assumed it was a ghost or spirit making the light bulbs do that.  I reached out to the spirit and let them know they were welcome and I appreciated their communication.

The next day when I got to work, I went through the same routine as usual.  Once again, the light in the dining room blinked on and off making the light bulbs dance in a circle.  My colleague was still in the hospital and I had the feeling that the spirits were letting me know they were going to be okay.  There might have been a third day of this experience.  I’m not sure.

I think it was Wednesday evening when I got the message from one of their family members that they were talking and would be going home in the morning.  I’d been asked to volunteer a couple of other shifts while they were out recuperating.  I found out they were already walking, having a remarkable recovery.

The next morning when I went to work, going through my normal opening routine, the light turned on normally, with no flashing, dancing bulbs!  It was clear that the bulbs were not going to dance now that my colleague was home recovering.  I asked the spirit to make the bulbs dance again but it didn’t happen.  It only happened while they were in the hospital.  It seemed like a clear message: “Everything is going to be okay.”

A few days later, they came to visit the organization where we volunteered.  I watched them talk just like they had before, walk as well as ever, and use their hands.  The recovery seemed miraculous compared to my cousin and the spirit had told me they would be fine.

Spirits communicate in mysterious ways but one thing is certain-they want us to know they are there for us and they love us.  Avoiding negative spirits is as easy as focusing on positive emotions, sending out love, thinking loving thoughts, and being a caring person. This energy makes it hard for negative spirits to get near you.
