Spirit Messages: Keys

Spirit Messages: Keys

Spirits communicate in varied and unusual ways.  Since my eldest son passed away 91/2 years ago, I have experienced a myriad of bizarre experiences that I gradually understood were the ways the spirit world was communicating with me.  One of the many ways has been the dematerialization of objects which are rematerialized later in a place I knew I had already searched.

Do you ever lose your car keys?  They’ve gotten so much more expensive nowadays with computerized parts.  One key can cost $800.00 or more.  But what if they were to disappear and you knew where you’d left them?  That might be a bit disturbing.

Over the weekend, I go on long hikes with a beloved dog and this weekend was no exception.  Sometimes I go with my son or a friend, but others it’s just me and Rela (the dog).  On Sunday, it was just us and the hike was marvelous-21/2 hours of peace and quiet, watching Rela chase birds and rodents.

When I got home, I went about my daily routine, not even thinking about my car keys.  My car gets used by my son because it’s the only automatic transmission and he hasn’t learned to drive a stick well enough yet.  So, later in the afternoon, he asked if he could use it and I let him.  I’m happy for him to use my car as it has space for him to bring home the unused food from the restaurant he works at which we then share with our houseless population.

The next morning, I was ready to go to work and felt both my coat pockets and there were no keys.  I looked at the key hook and there was only the spare key there.  My son swore that he had not taken my keys but had only taken the spare key.  I was proud of him that he had remembered to put it back where it goes!  I didn’t have time to look for my keys since I had to leave for work, so I took the spares.  I told my son about the conundrum of the keys and how confused I was.  I was beginning to wonder if they had been dematerialized since I was confident that they had either been in my pocket or I had hung them up.

When I got home from work, I went to meditate which is my custom, a great way to let go of the stress from the work day.  My son tapped on the door telling me that he had been called into work and wondering if he could use the car again.  I wasn’t planning to use it so I told him sure.  He came back a few minutes later, wondering what I had done with the keys and I told him I probably left them in my pocket.  We were talking about the spares since they were all I had.  I told him to be very careful since we no longer had a spare key.

He came back a few minutes later.

            “What now?!” I asked frustrated.

“You’ll want to see this, Mom,” he said, shaking the keys.  I turned over and looked at them.  They were the keys I was missing.

“Where were they? How did you find them?”

“They were in your coat pocket,” he explained. “I hung the spares up.”

So, the spirit world had dematerialized my keys and then rematerialized them, right back in the same place, in my coat pocket.  I was so grateful to have them back.  I asked them why they did it and they said,

“Just so you know we’re here.”
